Bhaskar Majumdar is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Unicorn India Ventures. A seasoned media and technology executive and entrepreneur, he has invested across 40 start-ups in India and the UK with a cumulative portfolio valuation exceeding $3 billion.

Bhaskar has held senior corporate positions at Times of India, Zee Telefilms, and Altavista UK. In 2000, he founded Recreate Solutions, a digital media company backed by Insight Partners, which he subsequently scaled and sold to a US systems integrator.

He has since invested in numerous technology and media early-stage businesses through his proprietary fund, Heath Ventures.Over the past decade, he has established himself as a well-regarded early-stage investor and advisor, particularly in the UK and India.

He is active in angel community networks across both geographies and authored the award-winning book Everything Started As Nothing, which explores the start-up ecosystem from first hand experience. Bhaskar is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur and holds an Advanced Management Program (AMP) certificate from Harvard Business School.
