Dr. Amarendra Sahoo is a Senior Advisor at Unicorn India Ventures, bringing more than three decades of expertise in public policy and central banking. His specialisations encompass bank regulation, supervision, and financial inclusion.

He served as Chief General Manager and Regional Director at the Reserve Bank of India, Dean of Academics at the Institute of Management Technology in Ghaziabad, and Secretary General at the Apparel Export Promotion Council. He has collaborated with monetary authorities across Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and Korea, and participated in major international policy discussions. His scholarly work addresses payment systems, financial inclusion, corporate finance, and banking.

In addition to his role at Unicorn India Ventures, Dr. Sahoo serves as an advisor to Insuretech Finsall Resources and chairs HiWi Forex Transaction Private Ltd. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from IIT Bombay, a Master's degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University (New Delhi), and has studied at Duke University's Sanford School of Public Policy.
